Roasted Pecans


16 oz pecan halves
4 oz butter

Spread pecans onto cookie sheet.  Dot with butter.  Salt generously.  Bake at 300° for 25 min. stirring frequently.

Party Mix

¼ C melted butter
1 ½ tsp seasoned salt
4 ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
8 cups cereals (corn, rice, wheat, cheerios)
1 cup pretzels
1 cup mixed nuts

Microwave:
Pour into large zip-loc bag to mix.  Shake until all is coated.  Pour into microwave-safe bowl.  Micrwave on HI 5-6 minutes, stir every 2 minutes.  Spread on paper towel to cool.  Store in airtight container.

Oven:
Preheat to 250°.  Mix all.  Pour into roasting pan.  Bake 1 hour, uncovered, stirring every 15 minutes.  Cool.

Makes 9 cups.

Pam's Cheese Ball


16 oz cream cheese
2 ¼ oz dried beef, chopped
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp onion powder
½ tsp Worcestershire sauce


Mix all, form into ball, refrigerate.

Hot Toddy

1  1/2 ounces Whiskey
1 ounce Honey
1/3 ounce Lemon Juice
3 ounces Water (Hot)

Warm the honey and lemon juice for about half a minute in the microwave and then add hot water and the whiskey.

Oyster Cracker Snacks

1 C. Crisco Oil
1 tsp. dill weed
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 pkg. Hidden Valley Ranch, original

Mix well.  Pour over two 12 oz. pkgs. of oyster crackers.  Let set one hour before serving.

Microwave Fudge


1 jar peanut butter (regular size)
1 can cream cheese or chocolate icing

Microwave 45 seconds.  Pour into 8X8 pan.  Let cool.  Cut into squares.

Hot Dogs in Whiskey Sauce


3 lb. hot dogs, cut up

Sauce:
2 1/3 cup ketchup
1 small onion, diced
1/3 cup whiskey (or ¼ lemon juice and 1 T mustard)
½ cup brown sugar, packed

Pour sauce over hotdogs.  Cook in crock pot on high until hotdogs are heated through, then turn to low.
