Ingredients:
1 C. flour
1/2 butter, softened
1/4 C. confectioners' sugar
2 eggs
1 C. granulated sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2 T. lemon juice
Directions:
Heat oven to 350°. Mix thoroughly flour, butter, and
confectioners' sugar. Press evenly into bottom of ungreased square pan, 8x8x2
or 9x9x2 inches. Bake 20 minutes.
Beat remaining ingredients about 3 minutes or until light
and fluffy. Pour over hot crust. Bake about 25 minutes longer or until no
imprint remains when touched lightly in center. Cool; cut into 16 squares.
