Caramel Icing

Aunt Dot's Caramel Icing

Ingredients:
1 C. brown sugar, packed
1 stick butter
1/4 C. milk
pinch salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 C. powdered sugar

Directions:
Mix brown sugar, butter, and milk.  Heat until dissolved.  Boil 5 minutes. 
Add pinch salt, vanilla, and powdered sugar.  Mix with mixer until smooth.
