Pepperoni Bread

Ingredients:

  • ¼ recipe Crescent Roll Dough
  • ¼ cup butter, melted
  • ¼ tsp. dried oregano
  • ½ tsp. dried parsley
  • ¼ tsp. seasoned salt
  • pepperoni slices, ½ of large pillow pack (or 1/2 lb. bulk sausage, fried and crumbled)
  • 2 cups provolone or mozzarella cheese, shredded
Directions:
 
Roll dough 15” X 10”.
Add seasonings to melted butter.  Brush over dough, reserving some to spread on top of finished loaf.
Lay pepperoni slices on top of dough, leaving ½” around edges.
Cover with cheese, leaving ½” around edges.
Roll from narrow edge, sealing edges.
Brush with reserved butter mixture.
Cut slits across top of loaf.
Let rise until double.
Bake at 350° for 20 minutes.
Brush with melted butter when removed from oven.
Slice and serve with pizza sauce for a dip.
