Aunt Dot Roller's End of Garden Relish


Ingredients:
4-5 lb. green cabbage
3 large onions
6 green peppers
6 red peppers
 6 yellow peppers
1 box celery seed
1 box mustard seed
Handful course salt
4 lb. sugar
Cider vinegar
hot sauce
3 T. chili powder

Directions:
Shred all vegetables to fine consistency and mix together in large kettle. Add a handful of course salt plus 4 lb. sugar, mix well and cover with cider vinegar. Add celery seed, mustard seed, several dashes hot sauce and 3 T. chili powder and mix again. Heat to boiling. Pack into sterilized pint jars to 1 inch from top. Process in hot water bath for 15 minutes.
