Stuffed Pepper Cups

Ingredients:
6 medium green peppers
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 C. chopped onion
1/2 tsp. salt, dash pepper
One 1-lb. can tomatoes (or fresh tomatoes, peeled and chopped)
1/2 C. water
3/4 C. rice
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
4 ounces cheese (Velveeta)

Directions:
Cut off tops of peppers, remove seeds and membrane. Precook 1 minute in microwave. Sprinkle inside of cups with salt.
Cook beef and onion till meat is lightly browned. Season with salt and pepper. Add tomatoes, water, rice and Worcestershire sauce. Cover and simmer till rice is tender, about 15 minutes. Stir in cheese. Stuff peppers with meat mixture; stand upright in baking dish. Bake uncovered at 350° for 20 to 25 minutes. Serves 6.
